In the process of China's rapid development of urbanization,a good image of the city,the effective image of the city,is to highlight the charm,enhance the attractiveness and enhance the competitiveness of the way.People's cognition of the modern city mainly depends on the mass media system,because the perceptual experience of the individual is far from the correct and comprehensive understanding of the huge and complicated modern society.In the era of traditional media,the image of the city is mainly dominated by the government,the main means of propaganda is the newspaper,television as the representative of the mass media.In the information age,the rapid development of new media is subverting the traditional media structure.Although the new media has been applied to the image of the city,but the use of new media is still guided by the traditional media thinking,it faces many difficulties.In the new media many of the Internet,micro-blog as information aggregation and sharing,social interaction and participation of the typical public social applications,has become the world's largest Chinese social media,is also the first China online public opinion field.The micro-blog as the new government information release,the people's livelihood service publishing platform of the new media,in addition to "government affairs," " governance ",plays an irreplaceable role in the communication of city image.Firstly,this paper clarifies the basic theory of the concept and elements of city image,the concept and characteristics of new media.Based on the theory of communication,this paper analyzes the value of new media in the spread of city image.The third chapter focuses on the status quo of Wuhan city government on micro-blog spread the image of Wuhan City,we found that the chief micro-blog active consciousness,showing the image of the city,single sided spread effect is not good and do not pay attention to user management and other issues in the dissemination of city image.The fourth chapter governance from two aspects of micro-blog communication law and government networks,combined with the analysis and case study in the third chapter,analysis of factors restricting the spread of micro-blog city image effect,the main system to regulate government run by micro-blog deletion and localization services,light heavy publicity and weaken the core value of propaganda advantage means a single,weak interaction agenda setting,lack of capacity,ignore the psychological needs of media fans.Finally,according to the realistic constraints and successful experience,on how to improve the dissemination of Wuhan city government micro-blog on the image of Wuhan City,the fifth chapter put forward to enhance the social attributes,innovation publishing content,form a joint force and improve the micro-blog account between the system construction,improve operation level,build brand service,actively participate in interactive communication suggestions.This paper hopes to provide a new perspective for the new media in shaping the image of the city in order to achieve a good effect of communication,to show a new image of the city.
