With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, more and more telecom network equipments appear. Network coverage area is more and more widely. The increasing scale of the enterprise network makes the network structure intricate. In order to ensure the communication network provide correct and orderly service for our life, telecom operators need real-time supervision of the communications network to understand the operational status of the communication network. The International Telecommunication Union, proposed the Telecommunications Management Network TMN architecture. It provides an organized network to obtain the interconnection between the various operating systems and telecommunications equipment to support the telecommunications network and telecommunications business planning, configuration, installation, operation. In TMN standards-based telecommunications management network, each network management system designed to comply with the TMN architecture and information interfaces. Based on the TMN architecture performance management functional domains, the Telecom Equipment Performance Data Management System (Performance Management System, PM) have been designed and implemented. The system analyzes indicators data for various types of telecommunications equipment to show the operational status of the current communication networks.Firstly, according to the actual needs of the telecommunication network management system and performance management background, this paper makes detailed analysis for the PM system functional and non-functional requirements in form of the Use Case diagram.Secondly, on the basis of the requirements analysis, the paper proposes the logic architecture and design of the organizational structure of the PM system. According to the objectives and principles of the system design, the system uses B/S mode multi-layer architecture, using web front-end development of standards and technology as HTML, CSS, Javascript, ExtJS framework and Oraclellg database. In addition, according to the unified planning of telecommunication network management system, combined with J2EE architecture and the MVC design ideas, we extend and optimize the system Web framework. Finally, according to the functional requirements, we design the organizational structure of the system’s functionality.Thirdly, on the basis of analysis of the system function architecture, this paper describes the detailed design of the main module of the PM system. This section describes the performance data structure stored in the database, and accordingly designed a data query engine and data export engine for the corresponding module. According to the design, the system is divided into several major functional modules. These are data analysis (Analysis), graphics monitor (Dashboard), report management (Excel), routine tasks (Task), NE indicators management (MO Management). These modules provide function of communication equipment performance data acquisition, data storage, kinds of reports queries and export and routine task enactment.Fourthly, the paper introduces the implementation of each module in PM system, and analyzes implementation scheme of key technology. Effect diagrams of system overall operating environment as well as various parts are given in this paper.Finally, this paper briefly introduces the application of the PM system, and proposes further improvement recommendations.In conclusion, on the basis of the communication network equipment and performance management business requirements and the TMN architecture, this paper designs and implementes the telecom equipment performance data management system. The PM system achieves monitoring various performance data and automatically generating various types of reports. It provides a good platform for performance management and optimization of communication networks. At present, the system is running in some overseas-site. During operation, the system has good compatibility with various types of telecommunications equipment. Data analysis and monitoring of various types of performance indicators and various reports can automatically generate. The system provides a good platform for the management and optimization of the communication network performance.
