The Design And Implementation Of Graduation Practice Management System For Shandong Industrial Vocational College

Post teaching practice and graduation project work is a very important part in teaching and the key link when students integrated using the knowledge and skills to analyze and solve practical problems. It is also the process of deepening and sublimating for knowledge and skills students learned and an important indicator to detect the quality of teaching. Shandong Vocational College of Industry proposed that establishing the graduation practice management system in order to facilitate the management of student post teaching practice and graduation project work and managed the post teaching practice and graduation project work by using means of information.This paper uses UML modeling language and analyzes system functional requirements by using use case diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram and activity diagram, designs architecture of the system and the program, achieves system function interface and test the system functions. We analyzed the system role and function requirements based on demand research and the function of system was divided into three modules that is post teaching practice, graduation design and the basis settings. We designed the overall framework of system based on the SSH technology of J2EE and program structure of each functional module based on the system architecture and integrated system functional modules. After repeated testing, we designed and implemented the graduation practice management system of Shandong Vocational College of Industry.The system achieves the functions that includes post teaching practice, graduation design and basic settings by using the distributed architecture design, three-tier B/S (browser/server mode) architecture, Struts, Spring and Hibernate technology, SQLServer2005as its database management system and develops based on Web technology. The post teaching practice function realizes the management of student practice units and signing units, adding and uploading weekly diary and report of practice by students, arranging internship job by instructor and interactive communication between students and instructors. The graduation design functions realizes students view the subject, adding and uploading opening report, the mission statement, thesis and graduate work, as well as setting grades for students practice by instructors. The basic settings function realizes management of graduating students and class, the school faculties settings and professional management and internship settings and role permissions management, which provides an information management platform for the Shandong Industrial Vocational College graduate internship management.Schools can conduct a comprehensive, detailed, intuitive management and monitoring to the whole graduation practice management process by using the graduation practice management platform and through the data that collects and collates by platform, we could make specific and accurate evaluation of the whole process of the internship and it could improve the efficiency and level of graduation practice management.
