The Development Of Vocational College Practice And Graduation Management System

With the rapid development of China’s economy, college graduates are not onlyrequired to have sturdy theoretical knowledge, but also urged to have sufficient practicalexperience, which offer a new challenge to the talent cultivation of college. Aiming atsolving the problem in the teaching and management that college students encounter inPost Practice stage, this research builds a vocational college’s practice and graduationmanagement system platform based on the information technology and computertechnology, which helps to achieve networked management of post practice, and alsoimproves management level and efficiency.On the basis of full investigation, being guided by the unified process thought and theagile software development thought, this research makes use of the UML unified modelinglanguage to build the systematic static model and development model, thus accomplishessystematic analysis and design. In this design, the system’s functional requirements areobtained by the analysis of the function of the different user roles through use case. Theobjects which are related to the domain of problem description and system function areanalyzed through using class diagram. By using activity diagram and interaction diagram,the author describes the change and corresponding control of system object and thecollaborative relationship among them. In the database design，through seeking thebalance between database’s normalization and demoralization, appropriate informationredundancy is increased to reduce system overhead; the compilation time is shorten andnetwork utilization are reduced with the aid of the storage procedure; data processingspeed is accelerated through using index; all of which have guaranteed the highperformance of the database. The final designed system consists of7functional modules:administrator management module, college leadership management module, departmentleadership management module, professional leadership management module, school tutormanagement module, enterprise guidance teacher management module, studentmanagement module. The complete system is characterized by many merits: user-friendly,unified, convenient, practical, etc.This system adopts B/S-three-layer-structures, the program has been completed withC#language at the VisualStudio2008platform. The HTML+CSS technology is used inthe design of page style. The components development has taken ASP.net technology. SQLServer2005database is used as the background database. Database access operations are achieved through ADO.NET technology. With IIS6.0, it is deployed on a WIN7computerin order to run and fully test the whole system.
