CFAR have a important role in the radar echo processing.In the past, the CFAR in the airspace have more research,but the paper studies starting from the time domain, to improve radar detection capability. It has a very important significance.The paper research the CA-CFAR, SO-CFAR, GO-CFAR mean lever CFAR detector. At the same time, it researched the detection performance in homogeneous backgrounds,multiple target situations and the background environment of clutter edge situations, to obtain the scope of their application and the advantages and disadvantages and use matlab simulation software to achieve the comparison of their detection performance.In the processing research of the clutter map CFAR, The paper discussed the processing basic principle of the clutter map CFAR and analysed the Nitzberg’s clutter map technique, clutter map point/plane-detection technique,as well as corresponding performance analysis.and research the number of scans, iterative coefficients effects on detection performance. At the same time, to use matlab simulation software to achieve the comparison of their detection performance. and further put forward the improved clutter-map CFAR. One is to put the the mean lever CFAR. into the clutter map point/plane-detection technique, the other is Temporal hybrid CM/L-CFAR clutter map detection technique, to imporve the detection performance.In the Transforms Domain CFAR study,the paper analyses the frequency domain CFAR and wavelet domain CFAR processing and research the CA-CFAR Detector in Frequency Domain、MTI-FFT-Frequency CA-CFAR、OEP Detector in Frequency Domain and CM-CFAR Detector based on discrete wavelet transform.The paper use VHDL language to program the clutter map CFAR, through a comprehensive, mapping, placement and routing, downloaded to SDZ616,and connected the bow, direction, data, trigger signal with the SDZ616device interface and uses DSP to display the processing result.
