Engineering Safety And Quality Information Management System Of Wuxi Construction Agency

Wuxi municipal engineering safety and quality management information system is an information platform developed and implemented for safety supervisory and quality management to the municipal public engineering construction projects. The purpose is not only doing unified management to Wuxi municipal construction, but also recording integrated safety and quality information data.This paper discusses the design and implementation of Wuxi municipal engineering safety and quality management information system. First, it summarizes the advanced theory, method and information technology application of safety and quality management in modern civil engineering. Then, it gives system analysis according to the users’ demand, deeply analyzes the corresponding user functions and establishes the use cases for some main functions. The main functions of this system includes:safety supervisory management to civil engineering projects function which process full period safety supervisory and inspection to the projects, according to the projects contract plan and public engineering safety management routines:work site affairs management function which manages and monitors the safety problems during the construction periods:project progress management function which manages and evaluates the key points of a project such as start working approval, period inspection and finish construction acceptance:project quality management function which do a general monitor and evaluation to the civil engineering projects covering from contract project, company project, division project to main sub-unit project, record prompt quality status and statistics finish level of the engineering quality criteria, accesses each project’s real quality according to its real status. On the base of building system function demands, furthermore, the paper gives the design scenario of this system, gives database design modules and structures of the main relationship data chart. Also, discusses the main processing How of the main function modules and software implementation and testing of the system. This software has been finished testing, has good results of test running and basically achieves the developing goal.
