Design And Implement Of Wanda Corp's Management Information System

Management Information System (MIS) is very important to enterprises informatization, however due to that, the models of organizations of enterprises transforms from hierarchical and functional type to process-centered type gradually, the traditional MIS can not meet the need of enterprises nowadays. At the same time, the operation flow varies from time to time and becomes more and more complex, the traditional MIS is not able to support BPR and the flow management, therefore the workflow management technology has to be imported. This thesis gives out how to join the workflow management technology to the traditional MIS through the analyses of the development of task management in Wanda MIS.Firstly, a survey of MIS's development and its effect on enterprise are introduced, the weak points of traditional MIS are analyzed, the thinking and meaning to join the workflow management technology to the traditional MIS is put forward, the knowledge concerned is introduced briefly.Secondly, the total layout of this MIS is shown, the design method and the analyses of feasibility are given out according to the practice of Wanda Corp.In the following, combining Software Engineering (SE) with the practice of Wanda Corp, the process of MIS's analysis and design is introduced, in this process, the emphasis is put on the combination of traditional MIS's development experience with the workflow management technology, on the analysis of system's data flow and operation flow, the functional model structure drawing is obtained, besides, the process of implementation is introduced. The entire system is implemented by Delphi based on the system's analysis and design. In the process of implementation, a mini workflow engine is designed to manage the task operation, and the test of the system and trial operation have been done.Finally, the strong and weak points of MIS the system of Wanda Corp are concluded.
