The Internet, mobile phones, etc, as a representative of the new media are the majortechnological inventions of the20th century in recent years. New media not only enriched themedia form, changed the pattern of global media, and had a full range of revolutionary deepinfluence on the development of chinese society. New media on the dissemination of ideas, modes of transmission and communication content have new features, and the scale of the itsdevelopment, dissemination functions and so on come from behind, showing a fusion of trendand even go beyond the traditional media. In this context, Chongqing,as the bibcock ofwestern China, whose newspapers’ development is deepening with the economic, political, and cultural progress, especially for the the huge impact of new media in recent years, hashighlighted obvious emfs--the integration of the newspaper and new media. Chongqing mediamarket competition subsequently upgrade, and the newspapers also need a profoundtransformation strategy, to seek their more long-term development. Based on the localnewspapers and relying on the background of the huge impact of the new media, we willexplore the integration of new media and the newpapers in chongqing, trying to propose somerealistic reference path, to let the newspapers in new media age can quickly find a firmfoothold, and the new way of living. In today’s world, media technology progress is drivingmedium shape change and development.New media brings newspapers influence and it isindeed there which was no parallel in history. But the author thinks the newspaper won’tdisappear and media integration will be the future of media era feature. The new media of "new" is only relative. No matter how old and new media will compete and no matter how theywill integrate, eventually they all can not be replaced completely. As the broadcast cannotreplace newspapers, television can not replace the newspapers and broadcasting, network alsocan not completely replace the newspaper, radio or television. They are mutually stacked, complement each other, learn from each other, but not mutually exclusive or you die I die. Each medium has its own characteristics and advantages, such as the newspaper ’s authorityand" content is king " characteristics, broadcast, television instant intuition and theinteractivity of the Internet. As long as the newspaper can persist in the characteristic at the same time to learn from Internet and other new media’s advantages, it can benefit the biggestthe future of the newspaper and, foreground is very considerable. The introduction to the article first described the background and significance of theproposed topics, and then introduced the topic at home and abroad, research status, theoreticalbasis and structure of the thesis and research methods. Based on media integration theory andmedia ecology theory as a theoretical support, we will do a long-term reserch. The first chapter is full of bedding. First it introduced the present situation andbackground of Chongqing newspapers, such as local newspapers (including the partynewspaper, city news, professional paper, college newspaper), central newspapers inChongqing, Hong Kong, Macao and foreign media in Chongqing, and the disappearednewspapers of Chongqing, directly under the start, portrayed the overall outline ofChongqing’s newspapers; Then the following is the new media’s development in Chongqing, such as an overview of the online media, mobile phones, digital newspapers, digital TV(video) and other new media in a certain degree of elaboration, and summed up some of thecharacteristics of Chongqing’s new media. The second chapter is the focus of the full text, mainly about the fusion of Chongqing’snewspapers and new media. First it highlights deep analysis on newspapers in Chongqingbefore the advent of new media (the system, content and bussiness as qualitative analysis&theamount of information, circulation and income as quantitative analysis); And then we conducta reason analysis, including the era of macro environment, market factors, institutional factorsand micro business philosophy, management and human intelligence; Then we came to theclimax of the article–the changes and infulutions of Chongqing’s newspapers after theemergence of new media. From the perspective of the reality measures of media integration, the inadequacies of the press and the effects that new media have brought to Chongqing in amacro, meso and micro way, we analyzed them one by one and carefully to identify where thereal logic relevance is to Chongqing newspaper and new media integration.Chapter III is also the focus of the full text. We launched a forecast and reasonableproposals about the integration of the newspapers and new media. First we pointed out thepossibility and necessity of the integration in the information age, which is generated by thistopic as an important prerequisite; And then we started a bold prediction, such as integratedmedia, strategic upgrades, pattern change, policy regulation and talent demand; Finally by thelight of reality, we draw on the experience of the case, and put forward some suggestions, such as to speed up the digital transition, to explore the media press operation and profitpattern diversified and in-depth newspaper system reform, to formulate relevant policies andregulations and so on.Finally, the conclusion part summarized the text, and re-emphasized the conclusion that:With the advances in technology today, we do not know whether there will be more newmedia updates appear after the media aheading of us, no matter how they are competing, theyeventually can not be completely replaced. Radio can not be replaced by newspapers, television can not replace newspapers and radio, and the network also can not completelyreplace newspapers, radio or television. They are relying on a shoulder-by-shoulderrelationship, complementing each other, learning from each other, rather than be mutuallyexclusive or counter-balanced. Therefore, the newspaper as a text medium, has its owninherent advantages irreplaceable-the authority and credibility. As long as they can fullyleverage the new force-the new media, the newspaper never dies!...
