Therefore, in the multimedia device extends out of the memory card interface becomes equipment to solve their limited capacity the most economic and practical method. On the market at present, the most widely used is the memory SD card Along with the multimedia platform for hardware requirements increase, the SD card is developing more and more quickly. In order to make large capacity, high transmission rate of the SD card function gets sufficient play, a good solution is in the multimedia processor integrated on a high-speed SD card interface controller.PCI Express is a new generation of bus interface, Early in the spring of2001, the Intel company put forward to a new generation of technology to replace the PCI bus and multiple chip internal connections, and is called the third generation I/O bus technology. Through the analysis of the working principle and the SD card of PCIE bus communication principle, through the realization of FPGA controller chip IP design.
