The rapid development of microelectronics technology led to the movement control system is toward integration,opening up,intelligent direction.Nowadays,PC machine is developing rapidly,PCIe interface is the important interface of PC,convenient to embed the PC's motion controller in the form of plug-in card,so PCIe interface is the best choice for design motion control card.In this thesis,based on the deep study of motion control technology,a motion control card based on PCIe bus with FPGA as the main control unit is designed and developed.The motion control card based on FPGA adopts the closed loop control mode of pulse adding direction,which has the advantages of simple structure,high integration and good real-time performance.We use AX7103 FPGA development platform for motion control card development.Based on the development platform,the overall design scheme and the control system of the motion system are designed.The control of the trajectory,the position control technology and the PCIe protocol system are described in detail.Finally,the PCIe configuration is designed.Has carried on the design from the hardware structure,mainly includes main control board circuit function design,mainly for PCIe interface signal to carry on the design,the FPGA chip,the hardware configuration,the JTAG interface design,the FPGA to design power supply interface,FPGA clock circuit design.A motion control module(MCM)based on FPGA is designed.First,the FPGA module system is introduced briefly,which mainly includes PCIe EP structure and instantiation,PCIe IP configuration module,PCIe layer including auxiliary module and core module.The hardware logic and algorithm of the system are realized by FPGA programming with the combination of hardware description language Verilog HDL(HDL:Hardware Description Language)and schematic diagram,which improves the flexibility and portability of the system.The design of the theory is completed and the communication channel of the motion control card is tested.The output of the PCIe is tested and simulated,including the simulation of acceleration and deceleration of the motion control module.The simulation results meet the expected requirements.The designed motion control card has High accuracy,fast computing speed and so on.
