In this paper, the main job is to investigate array antenna mutual coupling error self-correctionalgorithm of cross-shaped antenna array. In the condition of stable environment, thin antenna, andcorrect calculate, the mutual coupling coefficients estimated by the rank loss of self-correctionalgorithm can be compared with the mutual coupling coefficients calculated by the mutual errorcorrection algorithm combining equivalent network and the induced electromotive force.With acertain signal-to-noise ratio, mutual coupling error of array antenna can be corrected well in time byusing the rank loss of self-correction algorithm. The main jobs of this article are as follows:Firstly, the mathematical model of DOA and the theory of the classic multiple signalclassification (MUSIC) algorithm are introduced. By the means of experimental simulation, howsnapshots, signal-to-noise ratio, the number of incident signals and coherent situation of signalsaffect the spatial spectrum of the array antenna is dicussed to analyze the measures to impove DOAperformance.Followed by, this paper leads the mutual error correction algorithm combining equivalentnetwork and the induced electromotive force and the rank loss of self-correction algorithm after themathematical model of array antenna mutual coupling error is introduced.Through simulation, howthe mutual coupling errors of different array element spacing affect array antenna performace ofarray antenna performance is disscussed. By analying the experimental figures and datas, algorthimaccuracy and complexity of two algorithms are compared.Finally, in terms of array structure complexity, angle estimation range and resolution, theadvantages and disadvantages of various array antenna structures are compared. The matrix and thereduced-rank method is used to cross array antenna, through simulation, analyze the spatialspectrum of the the antenna array changing in the same snapshots of different signal ratio and in thesame signal-to-noise ratio of different snapshots. Then summarize how the devition between mutualcoupling cofeeicient entimated by the rank loss of self-correction algorithm and the true valuechanges with snapshots and singal-to-noise ratio.
