Infinite Array Of Array Analysis Amendment Act, Doa Estimation With Mutual Coupling Amendment

Mutual coupling of the array antennas has important effect on the DOA estimation, therefore, research of the validity of mutual coupling's calculation and DOA estimation in the presence of mutual coupling have practical signification. In this thesis, MUSIC algorithm and DOA estimation in unknown noise fields was presented, the effect of mutual coupling among array elements on the performance of DOA estimation is investigated, the method of the mutual coupling's calculation by using infinite array's correction was proposed and the DOA estimation algorithm was corrected. First in the thesis, MUSIC algorithm and the DOA estimation in unknown noise fields was presented. Second, the scattering parameters and the impedance matrix of the ULA (Uniform Liner Array) which is composed of dipoles were calculated using the method which is the infinite array's correction of the slit array. Third, the impedance matrix of the ULA was calculated by MOM (Method of Moment) and the result of the method of the infinite array's correction was validated. Last, the impedance matrix is used to eliminate the effects of mutual coupling and correct the performance of DOA estimation then the result of the computer simulation was given.
