Based On The Workflow Management System Design And Implementation Of Software Testing

Software testing management technology is widely used in the current software engineering. In the software testing, such as test cases, test scripts, test data, it can improve testing efficiency and ensure consistency. It can improve the test efficiency and reduce the workload of the testers provided that the workflow technology is applied to the test project.With the development of the office automation, the workflow technology is becoming more widespread. It supports collaborative work based on computer, which can achieve business process automation. We chose the JBPM technology as the engine when we built the workflow management platform, because it is an executable process framework, covering the field of workflow, service collaboration, and it is open source, which made it more perfect. In order to be more able to meet the test management system, we did some improvements based on the JBPM, we implemented the database optimization, the function of the approval for documents, the process customization module and the design of the software interface.We applied the extended JBPM technology-based workflow management platform to the software testing management system, which can achieve the specific testing process and approval process. The system has been put into use, and praised by users.The main work in this paper is as follows:1. This paper carefully studied the architecture for workflow management system, and made some in-depth analysis, which made a foundation to build the workflow management platform.2. This paper imported the JBPM technology as the engine to build the workflow management platform. This paper did some deep research to the core technology of JBPM such as the PVM and jPDL. On this basis, we brought some improvements to the JBPM.3. This paper used the extended JBPM technology to implement the software test management system. We used this technology to finished the development of the platform.
