With the development of science and technology changing quickly, the equipments applied in present-day industry become much large, high speed, automatic and integrative. Once the fault happen with equipment, Enterprise will suffer from great loss. so, the state of running equipment is directly related to the efficiency of producing, thus monitoring its running state is very important, in order to making trend prediction of the Machine and maintaining in time and avoiding maintaining too often or not enough. however, under most of circumstances, because of the lack of technical worker at spot, some difficult and gusty fault can't be solved effectively in time, which result great loss to enterprise certainly. From this, we can see it is a great demand for the monitoring and fault diagnosis of the equipment. Therefore, take the diaphragm pump as a object, adopting virtual and web technology, this article did the research on remote monitoring and fault diagnosis, aiming at the shortcoming of traditional monitoring and fault diagnosis which is hard to realize remote monitoring and lash-up diagnosis, effective maintain and management.This article discussed two kinds of modes, B/S and C/S, which were adopted to design the remote monitoring and fault diagnosis. According to the demand of enterprise,the characteristic of equipment and the computer architecture, this article decided the mode mixed B/S and C/S of the remote monitoring and fault diagnosis diaphragm pump. Then, built the net framework and designed the system under this mode.Virtual instrument technology was introduced in this article. then designed the system of data acquisition and remote monitoring and fault diagnosis with labview, a software to design VI. There have a good effect to use the technology of Datasocket and TCP/IP to transmit data with long-distance. it realized really the remote real-time monitoring and fault diagnosis. In order to manage the dynamic data, the data after analyzed and the result of diagnosis and the parameter of device and the parameter of sampling, this article adopt three data management ways, file system,database system and report,and developed the database management system.In addition, combined the web technology, this article developed the interactive platform of remote monitoring and fault diagnosis of diaphragm pump. Under this platform, we can do remote browse, cooperated diagnosis with different experts, resource share and report service of diagnosis.The researchful result of this article enriched the theory and the method of equipment condition monitoring and fault diagnosis. This article solved these key problems and realized the remote monitoring and fault diagnosis of the diaphragm pump. It provided a new way for the monitoring and fault diagnosis of the diaphragm pump's condition and accumulated a lot experience for latter research. However, the remote monitoring and fault diagnosis of the diaphragm pump is a complex and many fields involved systemic engineering. So in order to perfect it, there still have much research work to do later.
