The Development Of Automatic Identification Information System Based Rfid On Fixed Asset In Power Supply Companies

The electric power enterprise’s fixed assets inventory work is facing great difficulties, such as account does not match with the actual, and accounts becomes confused soon after disposal of fixed assets. These are mainly the lack of the real-time effective monitoring techniques to deal with the complexity and dispersion of electric power enterprise’s fixed assets during fixed assets into capital, operation, allocation, maintenance, and scrap management. Power Enterprise’s priority is to make full use of information technology to enhance asset management capabilities, to build the core competitiveness in the security, reliability constraint condition. In order to solve the above problem asset management, the development and application of automatic identification information system on fixed asset in the power supply enterprise based on radio frequency identification (RFID)are described in the paper.The automatic identification information system consists of three parts:(A) long-range recognizable anti-metal passive RF1D tags or two-dimensional bar code labels on the electrical equipment are ID of detailed data storage, and historical verification information of field devices.(B) As scanning terminal, PDA is used to integrate the RFID reader and bar code scanning devices with data terminals, and it is off-line operated computer terminal equipment with a battery. Information stored. in PDA is transmitted to the backend server management system by Universal Serial Bus after the data verification, and upload and download data is achieved.(C)The basic data and parameters information of electrical equipment are stored in back-office systems software and database server, in order to realize functions of the query of RFID tag information and the correlative of accounting data and the physical assets and physical inventory process management etc.A detailed application effects and inspiration of RFID technology on the fixed assets in electric power enterprise are analyzed, as a case of the system implement of Tangshan Power Company. Recommendations are made on comprehensive promotion of RFID technology in power supply companies.
