The Research And Implementation On College Student Management System

In the era of information explosion, the traditional mode of student management workcould not meet the requirements of the work, because of its low efficiency, error-prone andother shortcomings, but, thanks to the rapid development of computer network technology, theinformationization of college student management becomes true. College studentmanagement system provides the informationization management method, which improvesthe efficiency of university student supervisory work, and also is advantageous for studentmanagement work.To meet the actual needs of college student management, I look up a large number ofdocuments and technical documentation, to understand the student work’s research status athome and abroad, and on this basis, for system design, use the method that is object-orienteddesign. Taking all factors to consider, and B/S mode is selected as the overall systemarchitecture based on J2EE open source framework SSH1. Delivered to users, wherever andwhenever they need only browser and then can enjoy the services provided by the systemwhat improve the user experience and the security of the system data. MySQL is selected asthe background database which is open source project. The free MySQL meet therequirements of system operation because of its data query efficiency, stability of the databaseand platform scalability, and it greatly reduces the running costs of the system. Becausemature open source SSH1framework is used to develop system, there are many successfulcases can learn to solve a lot of technical problems, and it make the system architecture meetthe requirement that is "high cohesion, low coupling”, and improve the efficiency of systemdevelopment as well as reduce the maintenance costs of the system.The system basically meet the actual needs of the college student management working,including public information management module, membership information managementmodule, the scholarship management module, student loans management module, virtualrepayment module, news stories management module, the credit files management module，thanksgiving action management module, query and statistics module etc. The system also setthe administrator information management module, according to the needs of the work, the user is classified into different levels of administrators and students while everyone havedifferent role, to reach the goal of user’s authority management by giving different roledifferent permission.This system has the following advantages: practical, safe, lots of functional and easy toexpand, simple operation, and low cost. System has representativeness on college studentmanagement and easy to popularize.
