College student housing management is an important part of college’s logisticalwork, for its management capabilities and service levels directly relate to not onlystudents’ interests and overall educational level of universities, but also quality oftraining talents.With continuous development of higher education and increasing sizeof universities, the number and type of student boost, lodging resource become tight,meanwhile, requirements of allocation and management of student accommodationresource have improved.Student housing management focuses on not only hardwaremaintenance, but also the role in education, humane care of students. Since it has beendifficult to follow up the development pace of the era merely on the basis of theoriginal style of traditional manual management mode, the way to run apartmentaffairs with information technology emerges as the times required.As one of thoseuniversities that still manually organization student housing, despite BeijingUniversity of Technology (BJUT) is using certain simple office software to entry andquery information, however, there are still heavy workload and complicated tasks left,which already causing a series of inconvenience on executive.In recent years, with thenonstop expansion of the colleges’ size, the type of students varied, the number ofstudents is greater than before. How to make student housing management scientific,rationalized and standardizehas become one of the issues that universityadministrators concerned most about, which involving with how to ensure studentslive and normal operation of learning spaces, how to solve increasing conflicts ofstudent apartments, how to function the community education role and how toimprove the management efficiency.This paper, based on the current features ofStudent Housing Management of BJUT, is specified on analysis and studies of statusand problems of BJUT dwelling management. Futher more, analyze and research the domestic and foreign some advanced community apartment management system’sfunction and realization technology. Main jop of this paper is to analyze and researchthe demand of the apartment management system, then complete the profile design ofthe system and the detailed design, and implement the system, as well as testing thesystem work, finally to improve the system.By using the B/S Architecture Model andthe SQL SERVER database system, Using the SSH in JAVA WEB framework, andMyclipse10.0software to achieve the Apartment management system. the studydesigned and implemented the information system of apartment management. Thissystem centered the student accommodation management, while relating to relevantadministration, which focusing on the following aspects:First, standardized andscientific management; Second, accuracy, timeliness and sharing of data; Third,maximize savings in manpower, material and financial resources; Fourth, the role ofthe third class of student community.
