China has abundant tourism resources with high quality and the tourism industry hasa huge potential for development. But in the face of vast quantities of tourist resourcesinformation the data information and geographic information failed to combine effectivelyto carry on the analysis. Tourism resources evaluation system is a system to analyze thetourism resources data and make a comprehensive evaluation. GIS (GeographicInformation System) is a kind of extremely interactive electronic map System. Thecombination of tourism resources evaluation system and GIS technology can put theoriginally independent scattered attribute information and space information fusiontogether to analyze, and then provide help to develop tourism resources reasonably.This paper puts forward tourism resources evaluation system based on WebGIS andtourists’ perception, and the following research design:(1) the tourism resourcesevaluation algorithm based on the tourists’ perception. It discussed on various kinds ofalgorithm including quantitative and qualitative evaluation and at last presented thisevaluation model. This evaluation model first adopted Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)to confirm the weight, and meanwhile used Delphi Method to weight for several rounds ofvoting, and finally used the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method to determine themonomer evaluation value of the scenic spots.(2) the overall design of the whole system.It classified the system module after analyzing the demand and feasibility, includingweight polls, evaluation polls, maps module, inquires the analysis module, and determinedthe specific function of the system based on the analysis of the system cases, and the spaceand attribute database of this system is analyzed and designed.(3) to realize the tourismresources evaluation system in Chengde area at the base of the analysis of the system classdiagram, sequence diagram, activity diagram. This paper mainly studied the realization ofthe specific function of WebGIS system which using the MapXtreme for Java for tourismresources evaluation, Including adopting thin client pattern development and increasingthe browser interactivity utilization by using SVG technology in combination with AJAX,and the calculation and implementation of buffer during data analysis, etc. Buffer mainlyanalyzed point buffer and line buffer generation algorithm and the search of scenic spotswithin the buffer.
