The detection of sea surface targets is of profound significance in both of thecivilian and military fileds. However, sea clutter has a great impact on radar targetdetection. The characteristic analysis of sea clutter is necessary, and it is a hot issue onradar technology as well.First, amplitude distribution and power spectrum models of sea clutter areintroduced in this dissertation. And four kinds of clutter distribution are modeled andsimulated. Secondly, the characteristic analysis of the sea clutter amplitude distribution,with the real data from Mcmaster IPIX and a customs in china, is completed in theconditions of different sea state, bandwidth and polarization. Then further analyse theamplitude distribution characteristic with the real data of a customs radar, based on themethod of periodogram, the power spectrum analysis of this data, the center and widthestimation of the noise power spectrum and the theoretical and actual value comparisionof the MTI improvement factor are acomplished respectively. Then, this dissertationintroduces the radar signal processing flows and engineering application solutions, andalso, describes the basic models of cell average CFAR and order statistics cell averageCFAR. Finally, the comparison of two CFARs mentioned is completed based on the realdata processing. |
