Currently, our country postal service finance developed more perfect business management system, business management of companies had very big of exaltation. Because of joining along with WTO, continuously speed of finance internationalization step, vehemence of profession competition can’t be avoid, Postal financial industry need improve their daily management and decision ability in a large degree. In fact, for supporting business decision, they urgently need to dig out useful information from the history data, so the data warehouse is the most valid way to solve the problem which makes the banks facing competition never seen before. Using data ware house, banks are able to store all their business and client data efficiently and conveniently. In the meantime, according to the requirement of different departments of banks, multilevel process of data is executed and valuable information are visualized in different ways, which meet banks’needs of management decision and clients analysis.This thesis focuses on the design and development of a bank card business analysis system for effective demand of postal finance management. With detailed analysis, we explain the basic theories of data ware house and OLAP which will guide us the system design, and assurance the boundary of system and analysis topic. Then according to each topic dissimilarity of analysis demand, design correspond data model of the data warehouse and physics model, and design sample of data, conversion and load method; In order to improve the efficiency of multi-dimension analysis, we choose DB2OLAP Server as multi-dimensional analysis server. So we design the structure of physical storage and the method for data loading following its characters.In the end we design the front-end presentation pages and illustrate several typical multi-dimensional analysis instances.
