Which supply strong technical service for all kinds of application, data warehouse technique has a rapid growth as Internet, and the application field of it is developed continuously.As one application, design the whole system structure including four child function after this paper analyzing the application require and condition background of this system, and this paper discusses mainly about building a tobacco production management data warehouse logical model with the method of star schema, and collecting data, extracting data , transforming data etc. The "valuable and clean" data is loaded into the data warehouse, then the physical model of tobacco production management data warehouse is finished. In the design and implementation of the OLAP, Primarily describing how to use all kinds of data in production management to complete the functions of OLAP, such as cutting block, cutting slice , screwing and drilling etc. the paper also has a detail statement surrounding cluster arithmetic's application and executing valuable data analyze. In this paper mainly use the data miner tools------SAS/STAT and SAS/ETS of SAS company.The application study of Data warehouse technique is quite short in the tobacco enterprises, through deeply research and actual application , It can bring us with the strong supports in the tobacco business enterprise management, costs control, competition ability mining, further support business enterprise strategy decision, provide the roll booster to business enterprise in the economic performance and the social performance.
