Citation Analysis Of The Phenomena Of Interdisciplinary Research In The Archival Science In China

In recent years, archival science learn more and more mature technology, theoryand methods from other disciplines to enrich and innovation study of the theory of thearchival science itself. The subject of the phenomena of interdisciplinary research inthe archival science, is not only the present situation of development, dynamic modelof development, the structure and its evolution rule of the discipline, but also theimportant category of one of the basic research of the Chinese archival sciencefield—disciplinary research. It is positive thinking and survey of present situation ofdevelopment of Chinese archival science. Researching the phenomena ofinterdisciplinary research in the archival science in China based on the perspective ofthe interdisciplinary science, we can get a more rational and objective evaluationmethods and means.This article use theory of interdisciplinary and the method of citation analysis ofjournals, to measure the cited data of the three most important journals in archivalcircles which are the Archives Science Bulletin, the Archives Science Study and theChina Archives from1996to2010, and makes a statistical and research to thephenomena of interdisciplinary research and its present situation in the archivalscience in China, to show the phenomena of mutually blend with the archival scienceand other subjects objectively and historically. Through the measure and research ofthe theory environment of interdisciplinary research, the integration of external inputand the interdisciplinary performance of functional values in Chinese archival science,to find the specific multidisciplinary research area, describe the discipline overlappingdegree and analyze the functional values of Chinese archival science, to provide anobjective and powerful reference for the study of the development characteristics andreasons of the phenomena of interdisciplinary research in the archival science inChina.Through this study, we can see the development of archival science subjectsgenerally toward open and diversity to integration direction of the various disciplines,and for the scientific development and all areas of social construction to make agrowing contribution. Theoretical perspective of archival science is gradually tend to the abundant, diversified, and have a more fully rational characteristics, integration ofexternal input tend to reason. Academic influence and academic status of archivalscience is gradually deepening and improve. Phenomena of Interdisciplinary Researchin the Archival Science presents to enlargement, deepening and speeding up ofdevelopment of features.
