Research On Potential Interdisciplinary Cooperation Behavior Based On Citation Analysis

Under the background of the "Age of Great Science",in order to solve complex scientific research tasks and improve the productivity of scientific research,carrying out effective interdisciplinary cooperation is becoming more and more important.However,due to the double barriers of disciplinary boundaries and social relations,it is difficult for researchers to get to know suitable interdisciplinary authors.In addition to the lack of understanding of the influencing factors of interdisciplinary cooperation behavior,interdisciplinary cooperation is difficult to carry out.Therefore,a comprehensive understanding of the interdisciplinary status of the subject,identify the potential interdisciplinary collaborators and the key factors that affect the potential interdisciplinary cooperation are the prerequisites for effective interdisciplinary cooperation.Therefore,the research of potential interdisciplinary cooperation behavior is of great significance.The main contents of this paper are as follows.First,this paper build a Journal-Subject classification system and analysis the interdisciplinary status of subject from two angles of citing and cited.Based on " Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports ",the system was perfected through expert consultation.Finally,a Journal-Subject classification system covering 7927 journals and 89 subjects was finally obtained.The subject is matched by the " journal name" in the citation data,and the interdisciplinary of the subject is measured from the angle of knowledge input and knowledge output,and the case study is taking the library and information science as an example.Second,from the perspective of citation analysis,this paper construct the model of author potential interdisciplinary collaboration strength,calculate the potential interdisciplinary cooperation strength of the authors,and identify the main potential interdisciplinary partners of subject.This paper retrieve five author interdisciplinary citation relations from the citation data,calculates the potential strength of interdisciplinary collaboration among authors,and finally identifies the potential interdisciplinary collaborators between tarjet subject and other subjects.Taking Library and Information Science as an example,the identified potential interdisciplinary collaborators are summed up into three types of potential interdisciplinary cooperation types: knowledge reciprocity type,knowledge absorption type and knowledge radiation type.Third,qualitative data are obtained by questionnaire survey,and the main factors that affect the potential interdisciplinary cooperation are analyzed.Based on the Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior and combine the "reputation" factor,the theoretical model of the potential interdisciplinary cooperation behavior is constructed.Using the tool of SPSS22.0,we analysis and verify 285 samples data collected from Library and Information Science online.The results show that attitude toward the behavior,perceived behavior control and subject norm have a significant positive impact on the implement of potential interdisciplinary cooperation.The main innovations of the paper include two aspects.First,A potential interdisciplinary partner identification method applied to subject level is proposed,and the model of author potential interdisciplinary collaboration strength is constructed.This method provides a theoretical approach for researchers to meet more interdisciplinary collaborators and provides a new perspective for the identification of potential interdisciplinary collaborators.Second,quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis are combined in the research methods.This paper uses quantitative analysis to reveal the existing potential interdisciplinary cooperation and expounds the main factors influencing potential interdisciplinary cooperation with qualitative analysis.This will make the research results return to the research life and play a guiding role in carrying out interdisciplinary cooperation better.
