With the rapid growth of the population size and the rapid development of national economy,the natural environment are comes subsequently,then the urban sewage water is increasing.this case will cause large impact to downstream water bodies.In this case,we must take measures to increase monitoring penalties of urban sewage,to protect the deteriorating urban sewage environment.According to the inadequacies of the existing urban sewage environment monitoring means,the article ZigBee technology applied into the urban sewage environmental monitoring,sensor nodes can be long-term and real-time monitoring for PH value data to urban sewage environment.The nodes use ZigBee wireless communication protocol to finish the multi-hop data transmission,and finally send the PH value of urban sewage to wireless gateway by the ZigRee wireless communication technology,wireless gateway sends the value to the monitoring center by the GPRS technology.This paper studied the the IEEE802.15.4standard and ZigBee2007agreement, analysis and mastered its composition, design and write the node software part of the urban sewage environmental monitoring, node software includes the software portion of the sensor nodes and the software of the wireless gateway node. This paper mainly use ZigBee protocol stack API functions to complete the formation of the ZigBee network and data transmission, and through writing the data acquisition program to finish the PH value data acquisition,and control GPRS module remote transmission of collected data through AT commands.when we finished the node software design, we have the test in wireless gateway node network, ZigBee communication quality and GPRS transmission and have the successful completion of the system debugging.From the analysisy of the test results, the software can be successfully completed PH value parameter gathering, processing and transmission, performance indicators meet the design expectations, meet the requirements of the practical application, software design is reasonable, scalable, system running is stable and reliable.
