With the rapid development of information technology, the original policevehicle management system can no longer meet the needs of social securitymanagement. Mobile communication technology and GIS technology and GPSnavigation and positioning technique in the vehicle monitoring system is efficientto meet this need, through mobile communication and global positioningtechnology, thereby the time can immediately find recently police and optimaldriving path, in the shortest time to the scene of the accident, the scientific andcorrect decision help, to lay the foundation for the police vehicle digital.The police vehicle navigation system and related application referencetechnology, this paper systematically studied a set of comprehensive applicationof GIS, GPS and application of wireless communication technology in the policevehicle scheduling of integrated application system scheme, completed a vehicleterminal application design. The system mainly by real time GPS signal isreceived, in command and dispatch system terminal intelligent dispatching,realize the whole police vehicle the conformity of resource scheduling and GISgeographical icons real-time tracking technology, successfully applied in policevehicles and control center of the real-time monitoring and online information toeach other in command, dispatch and related data processing. And using thetraditional technique of single chip microcomputer control system is simplecompared to the system program, mainly for the police vehicle scheduling system,to realize the intelligent real-time display and intelligent monitoring andscheduling, therefore increasing the functions of the software system, in order toadapt the multithreaded job, using embedded operating system, the whole systemtransplantation and complex scheduling and displaying query function. Thesystem adopts wireless mobile communication method, can effectively utilize theresources, efficient transmission, communication products at reasonable prices and other characteristics.This thesis is mainly divided into police vehicles dispatching systemcomposition and working principle, police vehicle terminal hardwareimplementation and study design, command and dispatch center of research andrelated communication principle and its application in three parts wereintroduced. Police vehicle terminal hardware system and embeddedmicroprocessor, and the application of multi-threading technology, and theapplication of GPS module data operation and moves through a wirelesscommunication network applications, the realization of the corresponding vehicletrack access, portrayed with reference point coordinates query.
