Research On Surveillance Technology Of Remote Control Construction Vehicles

Based on ergonomics and relative National Standards, this paper makes furtherstudy on visual field of drivers and operating characteristic of remote controlconstruction vehicles, gives a method for the selection of vidicons and its lens and itsposition calculation on remote control construction vehicles. Taking bulldozers forexamples, this paper gives the method for selection of vidicons and its lens, deducesformulas on vidicons' position and lens' essential parameters. And this paper selectsvidicons and its lens for video surveillance systems of TY230 bulldozers, calculatesthe position of vidicons. By conducts modelings for TY230 bulldozers and itsvidicon systems. By these, the vision fileds of the vidicon in different orientationscan be clearly showed. Also, this paper conducts emulational and testing comparativeanalysis for the visibility of visual fields between the vidicon's position and theposition of medium driver's eyes. The result shows that the visibility of vidicon'sposition is superior to medium drivers' and accords with relative NationalStandards.Taking remote control grabs for examples, this paper implements the videosurveillance system of remote control construction vehicles and does some tests. Theresult shows that the video surveillance system answers for the requirements ofremote control construction vehicles. By the analysis and experiments, this papersummarizes the whole work, puts forward the existing problems, correspondingimprovement suggestions and prospects. In the end, this paper probes into vision tele-presence system and its technology.
