Research On The Telecom Custom Maintaining Management Support System

In recent years, with the development of telecommunication business, and the breadth andthe depth of the market competition expand unceasingly, the importance of maintaining existingusers is more important than that the development of new business and potential users. Maintainexisting users becomes the most important work for getting value stabilization. All this needs toestablish the nimble and effective maintaining mechanism to replace the old rough idea, andrealize the development strategy of effective supporting work to adapt to the needs of the fiercemarket competition. It is an effective way of solving the above problems to apply the BusinessIntelligence based on the Data Warehouse to the telecommunication area.On the basis of studying the data warehouse and the data mining theory and the technology,this thesis designs the Telecom Custom Maintaining Management Support System from theaspects such as data model, analysis model, exhibition model, and data warehouse building. Andit focuses on the application of Data Mining in the system, proposes the methods of designing,building and deploying Data Mining model for user loss warning.The developed system that author participated in has played the significant role in thetelecommunication production practice. It can help the telecommunication enterprise to obtainthe effective policy-making support. The system has passed the evaluation of achievement ofscience and technology, and it has been spread to use.The significance of this thesis is not only that the developed system can effectively integratethe large capacity and the multi-system data, and has good user interface and provides the varietymanagement from simple retrieve to deep analysis and mining, but also various modules’ designtechnology and method it used are universal, and only need to be modified in small part whenapplied to other areas and new maintaining management support task.
