With the rapid development of mobile communication industry, the demand of Mobile Communication Bandwidth is ever-growing. To solve the problem of the scarcity of frequency resources, the TD-LTE technology is put forward, and it promotes the evolution process from3G to4G. To capture the commanding height of the communication industry, the R&D of TD-LTE terminal baseband chip becomes imperative. This topic based on the self-researching baseband chip plays an important role which verifies the chip can meet its performance and complete the application of the chip. The research is mainly focused on:First of all, this paper expounds the definition and the classification of the verification technology in different perspectives and compares the technology. In consideration of the verification scale of this chip, this paper chooses FPGA prototype verification technology and function-applied verification technology which have the highest verification efficiency. The former technology is applied to verify the functional logic performance of the chip before the production; the latter one is applied to do the real-time test and test chip in the real environment after the producton. According to the functional paramete, this paper puts forward the prototype verification plan and collects the signal based on the FPGA verification platform. The progress mentioned in the article provides then basis for simulation.Secondly, this paper focuses on the research and design of the function application and verification platform which is based on the TD-LTE terminal baseband chip. It descirbes in detail each module design and PCB design of thewhole system. In addition, in order to ensure signal integrity, this paper simulates the important signals. Through analysing the simulation waveform, this paper adjusts the PCB board to meet the requirements.Finally, the testing of the function application and verification platform based on the TD-LTE terminal baseband chip is completed in this paper. The contents of testing include power management module, clock module, CPU nuclear, DSP nuclear comprehensive function. Moreover, the domo testing environment based on this platform is completed. The testing results show that the terminal baseband chip’s chip-rate, bandwidth, modulation mode, antenna pattern can meet the requirement of the parameters.
