In recent years,due to the rapid development of integrated circuit manufacturing process technology,the scale and complexity of the chip have shown exponential growth.In chip design,verification work is a very important part.Chip verification work often accounts for more than 70% of time and resources in the entire chip development cycle,and playing a decisive role in the entire chip development process.Because the integration density on a single chip continues to increase,the complexity of verification is getting higher and higher.It takes a lot of time and resources in the verification stage of the design.Therefore,drawing on the existing test experience and results at home and abroad to develop a complete and efficient chip verification environment has become a very meaningful research work.This paper designed a set of mature and efficient verification platform of wireless video transmission chip.This verification platform used our team's existing FPGA development kit and other hardware conditions,also designed with the help of software environment.It provided strong support for the design and verification of the DVB-T2 baseband processing chip carried out by our team,and made the chip verification completed on time.This paper mainly discusses the FPGA prototype verification before chip taping.Because the specific requirements of this project,based on the general FPGA prototype verification method,in the front of baseband processing platform,adding video data transmission channel to realize the real-time data input of the entire verification platform,and at the end of baseband processing platform,adding RF transmission and reception to improve the integrity of the entire test platform.This paper mainly completes the following four tasks: the first is the overall design plan of the hardware verification platform for DVB-T2 baseband processing chip,including the functions and data interaction methods of each component.Second,completed the design and implementation of the video transmission channel,and tested the transmission result.Third,solved the interface problem between the vedio stream and the baseband processing module,which greatly improves the efficiency and accuracy.Fourth,completed the design and implementation of RF transmission scheme,and completed RF transmission and reception Verification.The verification platform has universal applicability,it supports the mainstream digital video wireless transmission chips' verification work,and it can provide support for the design of chips as well as greatly improve the verification efficiency.
