Research And Design Of Embedded Wireless Projection Gateway

Embedding is to implant microprocessors inside electronic devices in purpose to make them more integration, more miniaturization,more automatic and more intelligent. With the development of science and technology and information technology, embedded systems is being used in all aspects of our lives, from simple electronic devices to industrial equipments, from civilian products to military equipments. Embedded systems have already been used in many fields such as networking,military defense,automation,wireless communication.The embedded system topic is one of the hottest issues of21st century for its development potential and broad prospects in applications.This paper describes an embedded wireless projector gateway that uses the ARM Cotex-A9processor and Android as OS.This equipment is connected to the projector using the standard VGA interface and receives data from a wireless LAN interface. In the meantime,it can display a classic PC or notebook’s desktop or mobile devices (such as smart phones and tablet PCs). This enables users to easily use it without worrying about cable’s length. Therefore it has a broad application prospects in the areas of business meetings, multimedia teaching and smart home.This paper first introduces the development of today’s domestic and international wireless projection gateway and wireless LAN technology, and then introduces the overall design of the wireless projector gateway program, including the configuration of the hardware and software design. Then the paper has a detailed description of the key technologies in the system, including the interception of the screen image, the JPEG image compression algorithm research, custom Linux system, Linux system configuration of the wireless network, and Web server design transplantation. Finally, we have a testing for the entire system and the network transmission speed, as well as projection effects are basically meet the demand for our products.
