Research And Realization Of Embedded Web Server Based On ARM And Embedded Linux

Embedded Web server is a product that is combined with embedded technologyand network technology,which is an important application of embedded technology innetwork.Web server will be transplanted into the access network embedded equipment,the client browser on the distal can with embedded equipment for monitoring andcontrol.Embedded device are limited in processor capability and storage capacity sothat tradition server can’t run on,the need for cutting hardware and software that is inorder to adapt to the embedded environment,which makes great relevance. Therefore,the study of embedded Web server has important theoretical significance andapplication value. The paper has presented a technology of embedded Web based onARM and Linux, the main contents are as follows:Firstly, under the background of the study on embedded system, the thesis hassummarized the characteristics of the embedded system and development prospects ofembedded system, and then has expounded the realization method of the embeddedWeb server and the developing situation of domestic and foreign.Secondly, based on S3C2440A microprocessor and Linux operation system,hardware and software platform has been built for embedded developed system, whichhas been used to design embedded Web server.Thirdly, the thesis has designed hardware circuit of the embedded system whichincludes the module circuit of Power, Time, reset, and memorizer, and so on,and thenhas completed the design of hardware circuit.Fourthly, in order to make embedded system work smoothly, it also needs todesign software platform, such as bootloader, kernel and file system.The paper hasdiscussed how to compile it into the Linux kernel, and then the image file isdownloaded into the target machine from host machine through JTAG and serialinterfacer, debugged and running.Finally, the paper has had a deep research on the embedded Web server principleand the structure of Boa server program, and then it has successfully achieved a Webserver based on embedded technology of temperature monitoring system.The result ofthe experiment shows that the system works smoothly, and has user-friendly interfacewith good dynamic Web page function.So it can monitor the boiler water temperature, has achieved the expected goal.
