Design Of Embedded Web Server Based On ARM And Embedded Linux

With the computer technology development, embedded system has become an important constituent of the computer domain. With the rapid development of the Internet, the network technology has been widely used in all types of enterprises and industrial systems. An increasing number of information products need to be able to access the Internet and achieve remote access and control through Web page. Embedded web server, which is now a hotspot of embedded research and application. The technique to securely protect sensitive communication between embedded server and embedded client has become the hot spot of research in the field of security.The paper has mainly developed the software, hardware design and realization of the embedded web server based on ARM. The core of hardware part is S3C2440A processor produced by Samsung, which CPU is the RISC style based on ARM920T kernel. The system software part has adopted Linux operating system which the source code is opened. The hardware part mainly introduced ARM microprocessor, the total construction of the hardware system, the apparatus choice, each connected electrocircuit designing and hardware platform debugging. While the software part discussed the development environment constructing, the porting of U-Boot, the porting of Linux kernel, CGI programming, the porting of MatrixSSL and releaize the SSL protocol on the AppWeb Server, the porting of embedded AppWeb Web Server and realization. At the end of this paper, we will finished a Date collection system by using the Embedded Web Server which based on ARM and Linux, the AppWeb either can work well on the remoting data collection system, or prove the transfer betweem users and Embedded device supported by SSL(Secure Socket Layer) protocol.
