Coal is accounting for more than70percent of the total energy in our country, it is an important basic energy and material. However, the trend of Coal mine production security is not fine. Lots of coal—gas explosions occour occasionally in our country. How to prevent the occurrence of gas disaster and safeguard the coal minesafety production has been the important subject which is our study. Therefore, a coal mine gas monitoring and alarm system with high-reliability, high—stability plays all important role in coal mine safety production. With the development of Ethernet technology and embedded technology, traditional coal mine safety monitoring and alarm systems are facing challenges. How to monitor alarm system access Ethernet, Ethernet remote monitoring the hot spots of the world are studying the field of automated monitoring. Specific to the reality of our country, and how to find more practical significance suitable for China’s coal mine safety production monitoring system based on Ethernet. Papers in this context, do the following study of coal mine safety monitoring systembased on Ethernet.First, the article describes the coal mine monitoring system involves technology:Ethernet, RS485technology and so on.
