Research And Application Of RFID Technology In The Warehouse Management System

The Internet of Things, which means all the material objects connecting with each other and perceiving the world. The basic foundation of this technology is the development of automatic identification technology, which using the Electromagnetic induction signal to produce the space coupling energy to achieve the information exchange between objects and objects and sharing the noncontact automatic identification technology. IoT is based on the development of Internet technology, which uses the Radio Frequency Identification technology and combines the sensors and wireless data communication technology to form the networks to cover thousands of things in the World.Firstly, the paper introduces the latest research and development of IoT at home and abroad, and then focus on the central technology of perception layer in IoT---RFID technology. Explain the traditional logistics warehouse management system, which relates to three main processes:the receipting goods process, the picking goods process and the ordering car process. Then, analyze the defect of the existed WMS, providing with an optimized concept:the WMS based on RFID technology. Specifically introduce the combination between WMS and RFID data system and then realize it. Analyze the receipting goods process and the ordering car process at the end of this paragraph.Finally, analyze the customer case, the application of RFID technology in logistics container, to clarify the advantage after combine with RFID technology. At the end of the paper, describe the research work which I had done as well as the disadvantage and the outlook of the RFID technology in the development of logistics industry.
