The Research Of Developing Henan Unicom’s New Services And Applications Based On Rfid Technology

Since the emergence of the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology in the mid-20th century, it has tended to be perfect after several decades of development. RFID has been widely used in various industries because of its features such as non-contact automatic identification, large amounts of stored data, waterproof and antimagnetic, etc..This paper focuses on the research and analysis of the new products and applications that were produced in the combination of RFID and communication industry. The author collected and consulted information about the working principle of RFID technology, analyzed and summarized the types of RF SIM cards and characteristics of various products, researched how to carry out the development and operation of Mobile One-Card service and Mobile Payment service based on RF SIM cards. The third chapter mainly introduces the situation of Henan Unicom implementing Mobile One-Card service in closed environment such as universities and enterprises internal, and the fourth chapter presents the pilot situation of Mobile Payment service. The author fulfilled the following tasks in the product development process: determined the card selection through comprehensive comparisons, formulated the card data specification, organized manufacturers for technical tests to verify compatibility, chose cooperation manufacturers to form product alliance, and built the service centralized operation platform, etc.. The works above established the operation mode of Henan Unicom Mobile One-Card and other new services, in order to lay the foundation for the healthy and orderly development of the services.Due to the lack in work practice, this paper does not discuss further RF SIM application that "one card multi-purpose", namely in a RF SIM card open the "One Card" application for closed environment, at the same time open financial consumption applications such as bus cards, bank cards for open environment."One card multi-purpose" will bring stable user groups and considerable economic benefits for operators. This is the trend of the development, and it is also the focus of my future research interests in this area.
