Fieldbus has a development and application at the20th century early90s late80s, it mainly to solve the digital communication between the industry field intellectual instruments, controller and actuators and the digital communication between all of the industry field equipments and executive control system. Realizing real-time communication with field equipments, PC controller and server in PLC control system by applying field-bus technology has been developed at a great speed in industrial automatic control area.Silicon is one of the important raw materials in the photovoltaic industry, and clean degree has a big influence on the performance of photovoltaic energy products. The silicon material cleaning equipment is a necessary part of photovoltaic industry. It’s important to design and manufacture of high quality equipment. Most of all it will be play an active role in promoting the photovoltaic industry. We should supply high quality of cleaning equipment. The equipment will be able to fully meet the need of the market based on PLC and WinCC industrial control system design. So we need to do is make the PROFIBUS field-bus and PLC for further study to reduce the gap between foreign technology and our country industrial automation, and enhance the cleaning quality of photovoltaic industry production process and promote our competitiveness in the photovoltaic industry progress and automation industry.The purpose of this study is to design SIEMENS PLC S7-300control system base on PROFIBUS-DP field-bus technology. This control system include PLC field unit designing, the management of computer station and software simulations. Specific topics include time control of process tank chemicals, each valve and robot arm can be run automatically by the programming software SIMATIC STEP7SP25.3.The human-machine operation design by SIEMENS WinCC, have fulfill the requirement of high speed communication with PLC and the design of supervisory control system. The results show this monitoring system can achieve good control and operation of equipment.
