From the1990s to now, the21st century, it’s just about two decades of time.During those years, more and more diverses have been shown as communicationmedia. Telephone, mobile phone, fax, e-mail, text messaging, instant messaging hasbrought convenience to business communications which become complex andunwieldy also. Unified communications systems have come into being. It is thecomputer technology combined with traditional communication technology, enablesvoice, e-mail, instant messaging, conferencing and other communication services forthe integrated, also includes internal processes management, which is an enterprisebusiness communication solution integrated information technology, brings a newcommunication experience to enterprise customers, and improves the communicationefficiency.How to integrate a variety of other means of communications on the existingenterprises communications platform, which can be applied on a unifiedcommunications platform, and, ultimately, the enterprise-class unified communications,and developing a comprehensive management platform in order to facilitate systemoperation and maintenance are the subject contents of the paper. Based on the globalbusiness development of the Great Wall Drilling Company, in order to meet thepractical needs, the subject achieves a highly customized unified communicationsclient application, which supports multi-language interface, integrates businesscontacts and cnpc group e-mail system, makes the solutions of POLYCOM conferencebridge, PSTN bridge a, VOIP intelligent voice routing and so on. In order to managecomplex information storage structures, it also achieves a management system forunified communications platform, whose key features include instant messaging,message management, call management, group management, client label rightsmanagement, organizational management, user management, user access levelmanagement, statistical analysis and so on.
