Design And Implementation Of Shanghai Dianji University Sports Public Service Digital Platform

According to the social demands, the sports and cultural center of Shanghai Dian JiUniversity make full use of its sports resources not only to meet their daily teachingdemands, but also to provide guidance and consulting services on sports fitness, sportsentertainment and sports rehabilitation for people. It is against this background and alsoin order to provide better athletic service to the community and society, the SportsPublic Service Digital Platform of Shanghai Dian Ji University has been built.With the help of modern software engineering, technology and management and inconsideration of the actual situation of our university and the business demands, weapplied the socio-technical system theory to a detailed discussion and research for theconstruction of the Sports Public Service Digital Platform of Shanghai Dianji Universityand the goal of the project is achieved.In this dissertation, we used the J2EE enterprise-class dynamic websitedevelopment technology under the MVC framework. By means of SOA modernsoftware engineering methods, tools and management, we have built the personnelmanagement subsystem, the venue management subsystem, facilities managementsubsystem in the platform. With the information service platform, and the sports centerexisting static Web site, we completed the sports public service digital platform forShanghai Dian Ji University. Until now the platform has been on-line in operation forabout six months, with the system operating normally as well as good user feedback.The desired objectives have been achieved and the project is successfully completed.Through this study, we successfully built the Web-based sports-oriented universitypublic service digital platform, removed many disadvantages of manual management,improved the efficiency of the sports and cultural center, and enhanced theadministration and social services capacity of the department. Most important of all,through the software engineering practice of this project, we provided a model andreference for the development of similar systems.
