The current society is contradictory and outstanding, the police line guard work requirements are also gradually improve. A simple card, sealing, cutting route security model has been unable to meet the needs of modern social development, the use of GPIS to achieve the line guard work in a scientific, modern management is imminent. In this paper, through the study of the former research results, the traffic information collection and the optimal path algorithm, is proposed for route security command center platform function design. In the traffic information collection, the comprehensive consideration of the influence of route choice of various factors, using the GPIS system analysis to identify the traffic information classification mark. In the guard line is identified, using PGIS system construction of city road network structure of the system, using the Dijkstra algorithm to achieve the best guard route determination. The analysis for line guard has certain reference significance. The main contents of this paper are:(1) PGIS system function and the line security application(2) focus on the traffic information collection, storage, display and so on are analyzed(3) focus on guard route optimal path algorithm to carry on the research analysis, find out the relatively perfect solution.(4) used in PGIS network analysis functions of the guard line safety assessment.
