TV travel program is the cross product of the media of film and television industry andtourism, ten years ago, with the rapid development of China’s tourism market, tourisminformation television travel program also appears, the so-called TV travel show, refers to theuse of television media to the public to provide relevantknowledge of the tourism and relatedindustries in the development of dynamic television programs, has spread, more tourism causedby the function.The development of China’s TV travel show enormous pressure is being affected by thesevere challenges of the foreign media and domestic competition. We can easily find theoperating mode of operation of the TV travel programs have been far behind in the era of theTV industry development requirements, and TV travel programs as a relatively new style ofprogram, should meet or catch up with the television program industry business model. This isthe inevitable choice of TV travel programs in the context of today’s TV industry. Thedevelopment of today’s TV programs for visitors is also affected by many factors, not fully tothe market, even the process of carrying out the program exchange, there is no real exchange ofvalue, most of them in the existing TV travel programs in local as the main object of thepropaganda, and industrial requirements, there is still a distance, this paper focuses on thepremise on the television program situation and future development trends, TV travel show inChina to do a detailed analysis for the current status and future development trends of the TVtravel show specific requirements and response measures.Throughout the development process for TV travel programs in China, the course ofdevelopment of the TV travel program is divided into the pre-start stage, the stage of rapiddevelopment and professional development in three stages, a brief introduction to thecharacteristics of each stage. According to China’s current national situation, the status of theTV travel show in China to analyze the characteristics, form, and dissemination ofenvironmental and other factors mentioned in the TV travel programs. This paper also presentedone by one the problems on the TV travel show, and made the appropriate measures to facilitatethe development of the TV travel show, the TV travel show broad space for development, thuscontributing to the booming of the tourism industry.
