In view of the education resources cannot sharing at the existing education mode of education system, school cannot provide personalized learning conditions according to students’ individual needs, students cannot do interactive learning, and learning process is limited by education time and space, the students who have the same entrance requirements cannot accept to equivalent education, etc, combined with the existing system architecture situation of the online learning system at home and abroad, we analyzed the demand of online learning platform system in Tianjin maritime vocational college in detail, in guarantee that the platform can correspond with principle of easy to use, easy to expand, we designed the online learning platform that provided the staff and students to use.The user scale of the online learning system is large, therefore it requires a higher concurrency and safety, based on the advantages that J2EE technology in solving the problem such as large-scale, distributed, security, this system used the technology which is based on the J2EE technology, with Java language for development, at the same time, adopted the Struts framework to build the system. System chooses B/S structure, in line with the industry standard, guarantee that the system is easily to maintenance and upgrade. Using relational database, to ensure that the data storage security; and using the way of authority to control, encryption, data transmission, to ensure that the data are not usually intercepted, decoding in the transmission process, thus ensure the safety of data in the process of transmission. System use standard modeling language, be helpful for system upgrade and redevelopment.In view of the drawback of existing education mode and education system, the system realized that the students can easily achieve the evening courses, delete class, learning, mutual communication, learning management. The function of course learning completed the course selection, delete, view of the course, use curriculum resources for learning, evaluation curriculum resources; Interactive communication module implements operation that users of the system communicate through the BBS. The module of station search including resources search in station learning and in station teaching, it is convenient that the user quickly find the content that they needed.
