In the field of astronomical observations, since the spherical radio telescope has been used more and more widely, our country is also actively building the FAST project. In the FAST project, by controlling the location of each reflector element to make the spherical reflector exact dynamic shape, and then reflect the cosmic radio signal to the feed source exactly, to complete a variety of astronomical goals. It has very important significance to design reliable, high control precision, low cost controller.This design of astronomical radio telescope node controller based on TCP/IP is used in the FAST project10:1scale model system, to help the execution of the FAST project. In this design, after the study of Ethernet technology and embedded control technology hardly and according to the actual function needs of the controller, identified the overall plan by using LPC2368as the main chip. In the hardware part, has completed the industrial Ethernet network interface circuit, motor control circuit, position information acquisition and storage circuit, and finished the design and production of PCB board. After tested the node controller actually, has improved the circuit to make it run stably. In the software part, has completed the transplant of the real-time operation system μC/OS-Ⅱ, to control and manage all the tasks more efficiently, and completed communication interface based on TCP/IP. The node controller can receive instructions of master PC to control the motor of Actuator, in order to make the reflector as the wanted shape. It also can send the message of reflector unit to master PC. Finally, through the software on the PC to debug functions of the node controller. The controller has the following two important features:Via the technology of industrial Ethernet based on TCP/IP to ensure the reliability and real-time communication, and via embedded control technology, to ensure the efficiency and exact control.By operating and testing actually, the controller has achieved the requirements, and has promoted the implementation of FAST project.
