With the fast development of microprocessor, ISA Bus,the data transfer rate ofwhich is no more than8MB/s,could not adapt to the high-speed microprocessor,andhad to give its position to others,especially PCI Bus,a high performance32bit or64bitbus with multiplexed address and data lines. PCI Bus is intended for use as aninterconnected mechanism between highly integrated peripheral controller components,peripheral add-in boards and processor systems. Development of chips and a variety ofinterface devices base on PCI Bus, has become one of the research topics of themajority of researchers, and has been widely appreciated, so the research andapplication of the PCI Bus is valuable.On the base of research with the standard of PCI Bus, several PCI bus interfaceschemes are compared, and then a structure of common PCI card is given in this article.In the schemes PCI9054of PLX Company is chosen as interface chip to realize thePCI interface, and this article also gives the solution on high frame rate imagedisplayed on a normal monitor. Moreover, using FPGA programmable features, imagemagnification, gray dynamic compression and FFT transform, have done thoroughindepth research and also success realizes in FPGA. The simulation and the realizationresult indicated the schemes and algorithm presented in this paper can make the systemstable and normal working, finally the transmission rate of the card is up to104MB/s,closing to the theoretical peak132MB/s.
