In nowadays’ integrated circuit design, the design of analog part israther time-consuming compared with its digital companions, although itoccupies only a very small part of the area of the chip, which is far fromautomation. And In this thesis, we are trying to make use of the symbolicsensitivity information of the circuit and developed an OPAMP sizing toolon the basis of the emerging symbolic circuit simulator GPDD.In this thesis, several algorithms will be introduced and implemented, including the algorithms of computing sensitivity via symbolic simulatorGPDD, the methods of interactive circuit sizing and the algorithms ofautomatic circuit sizing. And we will compare the sizing results ofdifferent methods to reveal their pros and cons, attempting to combinetheir advantages to improve the efficiency of analog circuit sizing. |
