The enterprise recourse planning has already become one of the most frequently-usedmanagement systems. At the same time the ERP system integrates the financial, business andmanufacturing, it can also help to improve the level of management.However, because of the complexity of the ERP system’s function, the maintenancestaffs gain few results with huge amounts of energy. The writer became a technical supportengineer in2007and has deep feeling of the difficulties in technical support work. One of themain reasons is the difficulties of sharing the knowledge of ERP system’s technical support.How to administrate the knowledge of ERP systems successfully has became one of theproblems to solve. Many engineers and users try to solve it with all kind of solutions. Butthey have had little effect. Because of the range of the knowledge, including the computer,finance, process of business and so on, it makes them feel puzzle. Therefore, if the knowledgefor maintenance should be able to make effective to be managed, it should be able to makeeffective to alleviate the difficulties caused by the huge knowledge.The management of knowledge is a hotpoint of the management of the enterprise.Through manage the knowledge and improve the utilization of such knowledge, Enterpriseswill be helped businesses better. In general, knowledge management is usually divided intothe following sections: the deposit of knowledge, the sharing of knowledge, the storage ofknowledge, and the transformation of knowledge. The whole process is the management ofthroughout the life cycle of knowledge.Targeted at the needs of maintains of the technical support for erp system, this paperanalyzes the feature of knowledge, and generals the processes of the production and theconversion of knowledge. And then illustrates the use of knowledge management operationand maintenance of ERP systems knowledge management feasibility.At the same time, by using the theoretical point of view of knowledge management andthe technology of knowledge base, this paper made detailed classification of the knowledge of management. And it designed the expression model of knowledge. At the same time,according to the feature of erp maintains knowledge, this paper designed the appropriate planof the collection and management of knowledge which makes the knowledge of erp maintainscan be stored and shared in a much better way. Targeted at the tacit knowledge, this paperdidn’t hidden stick to the design of the expression model, it accomplices the plan of the tacitknowledge sharing in another way through provided a platform for exchanges betweenpeople.The method is promoted which is mentioned in this paper. Collect and organize relevantknowledge in the work with the prototype system as well as other tools to assist, and tocollect data on the results of practice. The whole plan has played a significant effect throughthe data and the Statistical indicators from the year-end corporate data and performanceappraisal.Finally, this paper looks ahead the knowledge management for the technical support forERP in the future, and analyzes the possibility of the knowledge base’s improvements.
