The necessity of Human-Machine cooperation in intelligent design has been widely received by the academia, and gained many achievements in this field. But their main idea is that man provides support for machine, they don't propose that the machine provides support for man.Aim at the above situation, we put forward the thought of active knowledge support system. In this system we take the typical automobile parts as example, first the system can check the finite element analysis defect of designers, and then provide support for them according to their defects. So the knowledge pre-study burden will be relieved and the real Human-Manchine cooperation will be realized.The article discusses the constructive mechanism and the knowledge base building of active knowledge support system, The main research includes:We propose the concept of active knowledge support system according to the knowledge management situation in domestic and foreign at present.Based on the research of construction mechanism of active knowledge support . system, the framework and the construction mode is detemined. The system is devided into three modules: the building of knowledge base, knowledge prediction, the provision of effective knowledge.The knowledge base is built by taking the FEA of automobile ball as example, the main knowledge includes: the basic knowledge of typical automobile parts, just as gear, sleeve, etc. ANSYS knowledge, nonlinear theory knowledge and materials mechanics knowledge.The construction of knowledge base is the core of the article, the whole construction process includes: the knowledge base conceptual design, logical design and physical design. In the process of conceptual design, we take the ANSYS FEA knowledge of automobile parts as example, abstract various entities and establish their relations; In the process of logical design and physical design, after the standardization of the data we obtain the final ER diagram and partial data dictionary. So the machine storage of knowledge is realized.Finally, the development of the knowledge base system is realized by using Visual C++ 6.0 and Microsoft SQL Sever 2000.In the paper the construction mechanism of active knowledge support system is researched only by taking automobile parts as example, then the knowledge base and the knowledge base management system are developed. All of this will lay a foundation for the development and realization of the active knowledge support system, at the same time it can also make a contribution to obtain the microscopic principles and data of active knowledge support method.
