Since the introduction of PTN technology Obtained it hasgot a rapid development, and has become a local, IP-based metro transport network one ofthe mainstream technology evolution, in the current network it also gets a lot ofapplications. FT/Orange, Telefonica/O2, T-Mobile and other ranks in the TOP10of theworld’s top multinational operators have introduced mobile bearer network PTN for theconstruction. For PTN network to work efficiently, steadily and healthily you have todevelop intelligent network management software."IMS-1000intelligent network management system" is the software developed forChina Mobile’s packet transport network. The system architecture is based on J2EEtechnology and it makes use of the Client/Serve model which has more advantages insecurity and interaction, to overcome the traditional Client/Server model of shortcomings.In structure it adopts a "client+middleware (EJB)+server" three-tier structure whichimproved the code reusability and portability of the system. The main components of thesystem are: JBoss5+Spring2.5+Hibernate3.The network management system can be divided into security management, alarmmanagement, performance management, configuration management, maintenancemanagement, fault management, statistics management modules by function, thesemodules can be relatively independent of the development and maintenance.Safetymanagement is a very basic and important module of all the modules, security modulemainly includes: the user’s login and logout; add, delete, change and query of users androles; change password;access control and the query of log.The major work of my paper is the design and implementation of the securitymanagement module functions of the "IMS-1000intelligent network management system".The strength of security management is directly related to the stable, efficient andeconomical operation of the network management system. The access control is the coreof security, including user permissions for network management and operation of eachnetwork element. In order to control granularity of access to each network elementprecisely, the system uses a completely different multi-domain model from single-domainmodel of other network management system.
