Designment And Implementation Of Protection Function In PTN Network Management System

With the rapid development of All-IP business, packet transport network will gradually replace the maturely developed SDH network, and makes good use in the backbone network,and now tends to greater use in commerce. Packet transport network, compared with the traditional transport network, have better QoS guarantee, richer OAM management and more reliable protection function, and can better improve the reliability of the network. In packet transport network, pecially the designment of protection function can provide a guarantee for network operation, maintenance and high quality service. The designment and development of perfect network management system, obviously, can be more efficient to monitor and maintain network equipment, ensure the normal operation of the network and equipment, and provide users with much simpler and more friendly operation and service.In this paper, the work is to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of various software development framework, and decide the system will apply the three-tier J2EE-based C/S structure. And then in detail describe the designment idea of the PTN network management system which bases on the structure above and locates in manufacturer level & subnetwork level & multi-service, the network management system is devided into different parts and levels. And design the system function modules specifically, with reference to TMN model, and determine the management functions of this system. In this paper, also probe into the specific designment and development of various levels, and analyze designment idea of the communication mechanisms between all levels, and then gradually refine the network management systems. Subsequently elabotate the specific applications of the several key technologies required in the sytem.Protecton is absolutely necessary in packet transport network, so perfect protection function is the important module in network management system, and this paper focus on the designment and implementation. This paper, based on equipment needs, focus on features of the three protection mechanisms, LAG one-to-one protection, linear MSP protection and LSP one-to-one protection. Then, according to the level designment of the network management system, this paper propose the designment plan of the three protection mechanisms. And then, referring to the designment idea, this paper can complete the specific code realization from the client to the SBI layer, and then show the running and test results of the network management system. Finally, summarize the whole research, and propose the inadequacies of the management system.
