Study And Development On The Provincial Road Transport Management Information System

With the rapid development of information technology, the traffic informatization onroad transport management has put forward higher requirements, and speeding up theinformatization construction is becoming increasingly urgent. Hence, a Road TransportManagement System (RTMS), with respect to the management of passenger transport, roadfreight transport and passenger (cargo) transported station, is eager to be built for the sake ofpromoting the development of traffic modernization and informatization.Firstly, through the analysis for the current situation of RTMS at home and abroad, wediscussed the difficult issues on information management in RTMS. And taking theinformatization level of the current transport management into account, the functionalrequirements and related business processes in RTMS were analyzed. Then, combined withthe database deployment, DBMS selection and design processes, we presented the specificlayout of system database. Secondly, according to the database deployment in RTMS, overallnetwork structure and interconnection mode were brought forward. Especially, the design forthe data center, network management platform and network security were described in detail.Furthermore, on the view of data security, a recovery strategy of data disaster was proposed.Finally, we developed and realized the software based on RTMS, which was characterized instandardized management and advanced technology. In the meanwhile, we focused onaddressing the implementation of the administrative licensing, day-to-day management, auditmanagement, system maintenance and other related business functions.In this paper, surrounded the functional requirements, and based on the three aspects, thatis, database layout, network design, and software development, we have dedicated to carryingout the research and the contribution of provincial road transport management informationsystem, which is up to strengthen the collaboration among the transport managementdepartments, and improve their service capabilities.
