The 21st century is the era of network information, with the continuous development of network technology, every aspect of the conventional industrial control system has been permeated by the network administration. Base on the Fieldbus and industrial Ethernet technology, the field automation device can be integrated into enterprise information system, and build a close communication from the bottom device to the top management, to improve the automation and information level of the corporation.SCADA system is an abbreviation for"Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition"system, which is based on computer, synthetically makes use of the information, automation and network technology. SCADA system adopts the Fieldbus and industrial Ethernet technology, to cover the whole enterprise with automation administration, and this system is wildly used in the field of steel, electric power, chemical, food, medicine, building and so on.For the modern tobacco industry, the power system is the important production support department, it is responsible for the cigarette production sector to provide long-term stability and the requisite production environment. According the project of building a centralized energy manager system for Yanan Cigarette Corporation, this thesis adopts the SCADA system base on the PLC and iFIX, and combines the actual application, introduces and analyzes the network structure, working principle and actual operation of this system.This SCADA system includes two layers of structure: one is the distributed data acquisition and control system, namely lower subsystem, the SCADA adopts the PLC as the lower subsystem; the other is in charge of the data processing and human-computer interaction, namely upper subsystem, and the iFIX configuration software is used as the software platform of the upper subsystem.PLC is an abbreviation for"Programmable Logic Controller", namely a kind of general industrial control device, which is based on the microprocessor and developed from the computer, automation and communication technology. The PLC which is used in the actual project is the S7-300 series PLC produced by Siemens.iFIX is the industrial automation configuration software developed by American Intellution Corporation, configuration means to dispose the hardware and software resource of computer by using software tool, cause the computer to carry out the task automatically according to disposition. At present, the main configuration software include: InTouch, iFIX, Citech, WinCC, Kingview, Controx, ForceControl and so on.The actual operating result shows the stability and reliability of the SCADA system base on the PLC and iFIX. This SCADA system realizes the user authorization management, collection and display of field data, the remote control of field device, data analysis and Archive, energy source statistics, system manage and so on.
